Ultraviolet Stamp

It's got a pretty bad storyline, but I liked it for the visual style, innovative (although imperfectly edited) fights, a sympathetic main character, and good actors like William Fichtner and Nick Chinlund.

Closest thing to a decent movie I've seen from Screen Gems, and they certainly tried to screw Kurt Wimmer over and ruin this.

Screen Gems recut the action scenes to get a PG-13 rating (and yet it was ok for Underworld and Resident Evil to be rated R) and cut out half an hour of story and character development because it was "too emotional"

Fortunately Wimmer's genius is still partially preserved in this mangled film.

Lots of people don't like this movie, which is understandable, but what I don't get is the people who don't like it and yet think that Underworld, Resident Evil, and AeonFLUX are good movies. That just doesn't make sense.

Besides, far dumber movies like Transformers and 300 have had no problems with popularity since then.
